Incense Workshop @ THE LINE LA
Join us for an incense-making workshop, hosted by Korean American multi-disciplinary artist Hyungi Park. Attendees will learn about the history of incense, different types and functions of incense, and the process of making natural incense by hand.

Description
Join us for an incense-making workshop, hosted by Korean American multi-disciplinary artist Hyungi Park. Attendees will learn about the history of incense, different types and functions of incense, and the process of making natural incense by hand. The workshop includes all materials to make a single batch (approximately ten 1 inch cones), pine wood box to store incense, an informational pamphlet to take home, and complimentary snacks and beverages.
This workshop is presented in conjunction with Dana's Beauty Supply ~with care~, an art installation by Dana Davenport that explores modes of care within Black and Korean communities. Currently on view at the LINE LA through April 30th.
